Critical Minerals Research Lab Applications Open

On May 20, 2025, Resources for the Future (RFF), an independent nonprofit research institution based in Washington, D.C., announced the opening of applications for the 2025–2026 cohort of its Critical Minerals Research Lab. This virtual, interdisciplinary program is designed to support PhD students conducting policy-relevant research on critical minerals essential to the clean energy transition. The lab aims to foster collaboration among scholars from diverse fields such as engineering, economics, sociology, and public policy, providing a platform for them to engage in discussions, receive feedback, and develop interdisciplinary research projects.
