U.S. Battery Maker Clarios to Build $1B Critical Minerals Plant

On May 20, 2025, Clarios, the world’s largest manufacturer and recycler of low-voltage batteries, announced plans to invest up to $1 billion in a U.S.-based critical minerals processing and recovery plant.
