Africa Energy Forum Heads to Cape Town with Green Agenda

From June 17 to 20, 2025, Cape Town, South Africa, will host the Africa Energy Forum (aef) for the first time, bringing together government leaders, energy ministers, CEOs, and investors from across more than 30 African nations. Under the banner “Africa United”, the forum aims to accelerate Africa’s role in the global energy transition. Organized by EnergyNet, the event will serve as a high-level platform to discuss critical issues such as powering artificial intelligence (AI) data centres with renewables, advancing large-scale solar projects, and achieving continental energy security. This edition of aef is strategically aligned with South Africa’s broader G20 agenda, aiming to showcase Africa’s energy potential and leadership on the global stage.
