John’s appointment brings more than four decades of diplomatic, military, and international leadership experience to Veridicor’s mission of advancing stakeholder prosperity.
Denver, Colorado, October 14, 2026 – Veridicor announces the appointment of John T. McNamara to its Board of Advisors. McNamara brings more than 45 years of U.S. federal service spanning military leadership, diplomacy, and international relations.
McNamara’s extensive experience across Latin America and the Caribbean, coupled with his leadership in complex geopolitical environments, will provide valuable strategic insight as Veridicor advances its approach to aligning commercial investment with stakeholder prosperity.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, John also holds a master’s degree in Latin American Studies. He served in numerous leadership positions within the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets), including assignments as a Battalion Commander in the 7th Special Forces Group and on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon.
Following his military career, McNamara held senior diplomatic assignments across Latin America, the Caribbean, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He led U.S. diplomatic missions in Peru, the Dutch Caribbean, Colombia, and Venezuela, navigating complex political, economic, and security environments.
He retired from the U.S. Foreign Service in February 2026 at the grade of Minister Counselor.
His appointment comes as Veridicor continues to develop its Stakeholder Prosperity Bond (SPB) model, which seeks to integrate measurable stakeholder outcomes into investment structures.
John’s experience in diplomacy, international engagement, and institutional leadership brings an important perspective to Veridicor’s work in markets where successful investment depends on navigating complex relationships between governments, businesses, and local communities.
“Throughout my service abroad, I’ve seen how lasting progress depends on building trust, understanding local realities, and aligning interests across institutions and communities.
Veridicor’s approach to stakeholder prosperity offers an opportunity to apply these principles to investment and economic development.”
— John T. McNamara, Member of the Board of Advisors, Veridicor
“John brings an exceptional combination of strategic leadership, diplomatic experience, and regional knowledge. His understanding of complex operating environments and the importance of stakeholder relationships will be invaluable as we continue developing investment models that create measurable value for businesses and communities alike.”
